Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Art and Design Teacher to inspire and engage our students in the creative arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art forms and techniques, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to bring out the best in each student.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design to students of varying abilities.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for the arts.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve and grow.
• Organize and oversee art projects, exhibitions, and other extracurricular activities related to art and design.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at the school.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in art education and integrate new ideas and technologies into the curriculum.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Bachelor s degree in Art, Design, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Desirable

• Master s degree in Art Education or a related field.
• Experience with digital art and design tools.
• Previous experience in organizing art exhibitions and events.
