The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.
This time, we’re on the lookout for a Sales Assistant who will be working with the team in our Cardiff store. The contract is 12 hours per week, with overtime available. You should be available on weekdays and weekends, including evenings and bank holidays.
What you will be doing
You’ll be responsible for offering exceptional customer service, maximising sales and meeting KPI targets. You’ll receive training in product knowledge and selling skills, keeping up to date with the latest store ranges and promotions. You will support and collaborate with your colleagues to help improve team and store performance. You will also handle stock‑related tasks such as accuracy checks, replenishment and delivery processing, and maintain high visual merchandising and store housekeeping standards in line with VM and Health and Safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality setting with a focus on customer service
- High levels of enthusiasm, drive and motivation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently alone while contributing positively to a team environment
- Quickly building rapport with customers
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
