Role

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Providing one‑to‑one or small group support to pupils
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
• Encouraging pupil participation and promoting positive behaviour

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children (voluntary, school‑based, or transferable roles such as youth work, care, coaching etc.)
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Caring, reliable, and ready to make a difference in the classroom.

Safeguarding and DBS Compliance

Registration may involve an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and the supply of good professional references, depending on the role.
