Cafe Mentor & Support Volunteer

Mudlarks is a Hertford based charity which supports adults and young people with learning disabilities and mental health concerns. Through supported learning and meaningful work in the community, Mudlarks’ projects help people build confidence and self-worth, and develop important skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with café assistants to help them perform their tasks such as using the till, serving customers and cleaning and tidying.
• Act as a go-to person for questions from café assistants to help them understand their duties.
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Assist with general café duties when necessary, such as serving customers and cleaning and tidying.
