Job Overview

Due to promotions in the team, we are looking to recruit two full‑time Recruitment Support Officers to join our small, fast‑paced recruitment team of five employees plus a team lead. The role supports hiring managers and candidates through the end‑to‑end recruitment process and collaborates closely with teams in the Workforce and Finance Directorates.

The position is based at the Mountainhall Treatment Centre and offers a flexible hybrid arrangement. In practice, you may work from home unless office cover is required by the service needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, high‑quality customer service to a broad range of stakeholders, including senior managers and job candidates.
  • Maintain clear, written communication and coordination with internal departments and external parties.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for new staff.
  • Process pre‑employment checks, such as identity verification, in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Adapt quickly to new processes and information systems while multitasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Work under pressure and manage time effectively within an established, supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes and computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in handling contractual documents and statutory checks.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Experience in recruitment or related customer‑facing roles is desirable but not required.
