We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Team Member to support operations at a busy accommodation site in Edinburgh. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and customer-focused who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Main DutiesCarrying out general maintenance and facilities duties across the propertySupporting the smooth day-to-day running of the student accommodation siteCompleting room checks and reporting maintenance issuesAssisting with basic repairs and reactive maintenance tasksEnsuring communal areas are clean, safe, and well maintainedSupporting health & safety procedures across siteAssisting with deliveries, stock movement, and site set-up where requiredProviding excellent customer service to students, visitors, and contractorsResponding to emergencies or on-site issues when requiredWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious facilities, maintenance, or handyman experience desirableGood communication and customer service skillsReliable and proactive approach to workComfortable working shifts and weekendsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
