Teaching Assistant – Level 2 – Ysgol Bro Gwaun

29 hours per week during term time – permanent post.

Salary: £25,989 per annum pro rata (Grade 4). Starting: September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Enhance learning of students with a wide range of learning needs.
• Enable students to gain independence and participate in the curriculum and the general life of the school.
• Provide support in meeting the health and wellbeing needs of individuals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in literacy and numeracy to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Passion for learning and wellbeing.
• Empathy with young people.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Welsh language desirable.

Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council.
