Your Role

Are you looking for a part time role that allows you to make a difference whilst fitting into your busy schedule? We have the perfect opportunity for you. Following some staff changes we have an opportunity for a new person to come and join Southgate School to provide support to our pupils with their needs around personal care.

Responsibilities

In your role of Personal Care Assistant, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on our pupils by supporting them to gain an independence in managing their hygiene and personal care. You will be part of a positive staff team who support each other and you will support the Personal Care Officer to develop intimate Care Plans.

Please note that some of our training takes place outside of your normal working hours.

Induction

Successful candidates would be expected to attend an induction day that will take place from 9am until 3pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
