Job Purpose

To carry out manufacturing process steps for the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and assemble product to agreed quality levels to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
  • Ensure product meets IPC 610 to the specified class
  • Input and preparation of process control documentation including first off inspection
  • Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
  • Maintain to the highest-level workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created with minimal re-work outside of design

Person Specification

  • Professional manner with excellent internal customer service skills
  • Good understanding of English including verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable and strives for high quality standards
  • Accurate with good manual dexterity
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Interest in electronics / manufacturing

Essential

Previous experience:

  • Experience of running pick and place machines, using MyData, Dek, Jet printer, SPI, and reflow ovens
  • Good component recognition skills

Preferred

  • Previous experience of package creation

Working Hours – (39 hrs P/W) Mon – Thurs: 07:30 – 16:30, Fri: 07:30 – 12:30.

Overtime opportunities are available.
