Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Operative – Bioflex Earlies to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability policies and report any issues to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
  • Produce quality products at the required quantity, on time and at the lowest possible cost, following company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards training and professional development.
  • Monitor process performance to achieve maximum output.
  • Carry out and document correct quality control checks, completing all production paperwork.
  • Work as a team to meet departmental, company and customer targets.
  • Ensure production targets are met and inform the Team Leader of any quality problems, process issues or machine breakdowns as soon as possible.
  • Maintain good relationships within the department and report material or consumable shortages promptly.
  • Conduct periodic checks in accordance with relevant procedures and specifications.
  • Maintain a high standard of 5S practices.
  • Record breakdowns and scrap in the required documentation.
  • Follow all procedures correctly and without exception.
  • Complete all documentation on time.
  • Work unsupervised and make decisions based on available data.
  • Collaborate with the manager and team to identify, implement and drive continuous improvement actions.
  • Adhere to correct quality controls and measurements.
  • Work safely, complying with Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
  • Highlight and challenge unsafe behaviour before accidents occur.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Safety minded.
  • Computer literacy desirable.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work to high quality standards.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate with other workers.
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual work.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Raise H&S concerns when applicable or required.
  • Participate in Self‑Directed Teams meetings.
  • Experience within a manufacturing role.
  • Experience with measuring techniques including digital verniers.
