O2C Business Transformation Manager – Capgemini
As an integral part of Capgemini’s IFAO Project & Consulting Team, you will help guide our clients toward large‑scale transformations using automation and technology solutions at the forefront of innovation in the Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) area. You will shape the future of business operations for large clients and take responsibility for fine‑tuning and orchestrating technology‑enabled transformation projects.
Your role
- Participate in the process and technology transformation projects within Finance, supporting Transformation Consultants and Transformation Managers in successful development of agreed project deliverables for internal as well as for external clients.
- Participate in projects that may be related to target operating model design, process design, process and technology maturity assessment, benchmarking, GBS/SSC set up, automation potential assessment, ERP/Platform solutions implementation, RPA implementation, transition, training delivery, change management and similar.
- Apply in practice different process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, DGEM Benchmarking, ESOAR) to the area of expertise for continuous improvement and transformation purposes.
- Operate as a Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor for client within the area of expertise. Keep abreast of technology developments, their strengths and weaknesses and suggest process and technology related improvements within the given area of expertise.
- Act as a Stream Lead or Project Lead, having full accountability for high‑quality deliverables with minimum guidance. Bear the full accountability for all project deliverables, as well as own personally certain deliverables that could be related to documentation of identified process challenges, potential improvements and benefits, report out, or business cases. Conduct quality assurance on the deliverables developed by junior team members. Manage and coach other members of the project team.
- Analyze data and information received from client, utilize your process and technology expertise to provide improvement recommendations to steer clients in their transformation journey.
Additional requirements for this role are to have experience in one or more of the below areas with an understanding of the processes and the integration requirements in the supply chain flowing from demand forecasting—qualitative and quantitative supply/demands (volume and value), IBP (category and customer plans), scenario planning with strategic and operational execution, into logistics/transportation (primary/secondary/warehousing) and stock movements into the Order‑to‑Cash cycle.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience (at least 9 years) and strong process knowledge within finance following areas: Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) – Order Management, Billing, Credit Management, Cash Application, Collections, Disputes.
- Proven experience working preferably in FMCG (CPG) (at least 2‑3 years).
- Proven experience in one of the following roles: Project Stream Lead / Solution Lead for at least 3 years with accountability for project deliverables, team, timeline.
- Experience in process documentation (process flows, narratives, operating procedures, control frameworks) preparation.
- Experience in process mapping in Visio, Business Optix, Signavio (or similar) including BPMN notation awareness.
- Continuous improvement, client value and innovation mindset with proven benefits delivered.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate the recommended solution clearly in presentation form.
- Experience in leading & facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Experience in leading roles & positions on project‑type work/assignments, with frequent client interactions (workshops, presentations, trainings).
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience in at least one of the ERPs: S/4HANA, SAP ECC or Oracle.
- Very good understanding and/or implementation experience of non‑ERP process supporting tools within C2C area of expertise (e.g., BlackLine, HighRadius, Serrala SaaS Platforms).
- Good understanding of Intelligent Automation and Robotics Process Automation capabilities including Gen‑AI & agentic technologies.
- Very good understanding and experience in GBS/SSC/BPO operating models & industry.
- Process and technology benchmarking assessment experience.
- Ability to articulate the business case for change / implementation of recommended solution.
- Good level of consulting skills including hypothesis‑driven analysis, collaborative meeting management, data collection & diagnostics, storytelling & storyboarding.
- Demonstrate proactiveness and self‑reliant approach to work with limited supervision.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Implementation experience of ERP tools or non‑ERP process supporting/management tools – hands‑on experience with S/4HANA environment & S/4HANA implementation programs.
- Project management certification.
- Any relevant expertise domain certification, e.g., CIMA, CPA, ACCA, CIPS, CPSM, CSCP (or similar).
- Logistics & Transportation experience would be an asset.
