SEN LSA Role – Support Pupils with Autism, ADHD & SEMH Needs
Full time or part time options available
Location: Guildford, Surrey
School hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Day rate: £107.00-£112.00
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join supportive school settings, working with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
The role
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
- Using strategies such as visual supports, structured routines, and sensory approaches
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to support progress and confidence
We are looking for
- Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, etc.)
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting SEND learners
