Support Worker – Supported Living

We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to support service users aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex needs. The role is based in supported living settings, where you will assist clients to live independently, manage daily tasks, and participate in community activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Support service users to live fully and actively in line with their wishes and choices, contributing to their support and care plans.
• Safeguard and protect the welfare of service users and report any concerning actions.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a person‑centred approach.
• Assist service users with social activities, finances, medications, household tasks and personal care.
• Act as an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Record and report any issues related to care and support.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Evidence of genuine caring and desire to support people towards independence.
• No prior care sector experience required; values and attitude are priority.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Team player with initiative and willingness to support colleagues.

Salary and Benefits

Hourly rate of £12.96 (approximately £28,304.64 per annum for a 42‑hour week, pro‑rata). Includes a £500 bonus through the refer‑a‑friend scheme (unlimited referrals) and eligibility for general Eden Futures benefits.
