Accommodation Worker – Nights
Location: Number One Riverside, Rochdale
Salary: £26,403 – £28,142 (Grade 4) £13.69 per hour
Hours: Casual night shifts – each shift is 10.5 hours (10pm – 8.30am)

Rochdale Borough Council’s Strategic Housing currently have vacancies for Casual Accommodation Night Workers. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality homelessness services, helping individuals access safe accommodation and the services they need to move on successfully.
Responsibilities
- Be approachable and have strong communication skills
- Have an awareness of the barriers faced by homeless people
- Carry out health & safety checks and report repairs
- Provide information and guidance on housing processes and benefits
- Check IT systems for information and follow guidance/procedures
- Maintain accurate written records and liaise with partner agencies
- Promote safeguarding and challenge inappropriate behaviour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
