Salary: NJC 12-17, £23,164 – £24,319 (actual salary) or £28,598 – £30,024 (FTE) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits.
Responsibilities
The role covers classes during both planned and unplanned teacher absences, providing essential support across all subjects and ensuring students’ learning progresses uninterrupted. By maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment, the cover supervisor contributes significantly to student achievement and advancement, ensuring the smooth delivery of an excellent education to every child in every classroom, every day.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of a range of strategies to deal with whole-class behaviour and individual behavioural needs.
- L2 qualifications – GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4) or equivalent.
- A university degree or equivalent level of qualification (level 6).
- Experience of working with children and young people.
- Ability to build positive relationships with all students.
