Care Assistant (UK Applicants Only)

Home Instead provides non‑medical care and companionship services for older adults. Caregivers visit clients at their homes for a minimum of one hour per appointment.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities and promote clients’ autonomy and independence.
• Use a personalised approach that builds trust through shared interests and hobbies.
• Provide a comfortable and supportive environment for clients throughout their visits.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required.
• Friendly, compassionate, and good listening skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability for evening shifts (16:45 – 22:00) and alternating weekends.
• Reliable transportation for travel to the South side of Hereford if required.

Compensation and Working Hours

Pay ranges from £14.75 to £16.50 per hour. The role is part‑time, 15 hours per week, including the specified evening hours and alternating weekends. Additional hours are available for candidates willing to travel to South Hereford.
