About the role
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Insurance Broking Accounts Specialist to join our growing IBA team. If you enjoy working with complex financial processes and being a trusted point of expertise for colleagues and stakeholders, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a high performing shared service environment. You’ll manage your own portfolio of work, support continuous improvements, and use your knowledge to help ensure our operations run smoothly and accurately.
Please note that this position is a 12-month fixed term position, based 3 days a week in our London Liverpool Street office.
What you will be doing
- Managing your own portfolio across areas such as credit control, Lloyd’s submission, bordereaux management, query resolution and client money activities.
- Supporting IBA projects, audits, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, clients and insurers.
- Contributing to the success of wider business activities as required.
Who we are looking for
- Experience within a finance shared service environment within the insurance industry.
- Understanding of IBA best practice, with experience in bordereaux and bureau work (desirable, not essential).
- Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial systems.
- Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
