About the Role
We are currently seeking 5 Student Registry Summer Enrolment Staff Members to join our Data & MIS department at The Bedford College Group.
Responsibilities
- Enrolment & Data Administration – Support end‑to‑end enrolment processes, including data entry, updating student records and generating reports using the college database.
- Customer Service & Student Support – Provide face‑to‑face assistance at enrolment events, supporting students through the registration process and ensuring a positive first experience.
- Systems, Records & ID Management – Produce student ID cards, maintain accurate records and assist with database administration to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Operational Support & Team Collaboration – Work closely with the Registry Team to prepare and deliver large‑scale enrolment events, ensuring efficient service across multiple campuses.
- Professional Practice, Safeguarding & Flexibility – Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, adapt to extended working hours during peak periods, and contribute flexibly across sites as required.
About You
- Qualifications, IT & Administrative Capability – Educated to GCSE level (including English and maths), with confident use of Microsoft Office and digital systems to support administrative processes.
- Customer Service & Communication – Strong communication skills across phone, face‑to‑face and written formats, delivering a welcoming, supportive and professional experience for students and stakeholders.
- Organisation, Teamwork & Workload Management – Well‑organised and able to work within a team, following instructions effectively while managing tasks in a busy, deadline‑driven environment.
- Professional Conduct & Safeguarding – Committed to safeguarding, maintaining appropriate boundaries and supporting the wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Flexibility, Reliability & Physical Support – Adaptable and dependable with a flexible approach to working hours, able to undertake manual handling tasks and respond to operational demands.
