Job Title: Business Architect
Contract Type: Fixed term contract, 12 months
Salary: £71,991.31 per annum (£79,510.98 after 12 months successful performance)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Description
To partner an agreed business area and establish the current operating environment, identify opportunities for improvement and provide technical insight to support the Group’s strategic objectives and target and transitional operating models. To support the process to prioritise improvements and facilitate the production of clear change requirements.
About You
- Experience of project management, preferably with an understanding of definition, inception and design methods and techniques.
- In‑depth knowledge of business architecture methodology and development.
- Experience of delivering change within a complex, multi‑site organisation.
- Proven track record of analysing and interpreting data including financial information and business cases.

Role Profile
- Identify and prioritise change requirements for the agreed business area, supporting concept definition and benefits realisation phases of the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to portfolio management and cross‑organisational prioritisation of changes.
- Provide timely updates on the portfolio to the agreed business area.
- Contribute to development of Group target and transitional operating models.
- Act as the main point of contact for the business area regarding the operating model.
- Contribute to architecture and design methodology development.
- Manage stakeholders effectively and influence delivery of business strategy.
- Support continuous improvement through analysis and risk identification.
- Ensure information security, data protection, health and safety, and confidentiality requirements are met.
- Respond flexibly to changes in work priorities and travel as required.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule during operational hours.

Essential:
- Experience of project management, with understanding of definition, inception and design methods and techniques.
