Consultant – Acoustics (Manchester)

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to acoustics projects across a broad range of sectors, working on noise and vibration surveys, project delivery, and client relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Working on acoustics projects which range from those of national significance to those which support local communities. The projects would be varied, giving you the opportunity to work across sectors including residential, renewable energy, commercial and industrial, sports and leisure and infrastructure.
• Undertaking noise and vibration surveys on a range of different sites and projects. Leading small to medium scale projects, assisting on larger schemes, and working collaboratively with others in the WSP acoustics team.
• Working alongside our team of consultants and engineers to develop your skill set and progress your career, attending client and design team meetings, and contributing to the technical advancements and success of the team through effective project delivery and developing key client relationships.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in undertaking noise surveys and assessments.
• An enthusiastic, energetic outlook and willingness to learn, with a social and team‑spirited attitude.
