Night Care Assistant

About The Role

As a Night Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness and work to ensure that every resident receives warm, respectful care. You will support residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring they maintain their dignity and individuality.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
• Support residents in general activities within the care home, including helping those with limited mobility, offering emotional support to confused or distressed residents, and providing care to residents at the end of their life.
• Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training appropriate to the role, seek advice, report concerns and, if necessary, raise escalation.
