Mobile Water Technician

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We’re looking for a Mobile Water Technician who will deliver essential water hygiene compliance and high‑quality maintenance services across customer sites.

Responsibilities
- Complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, and chemical testing.
- Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
- Maintain customer water logbooks and complete all required documentation in accordance with company policy and current guidelines.
- Conduct water system cleans and disinfections, including cooling tower cleaning, in line with ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
- Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).
- Carry out weekly testing of cooling towers.
- Perform chemical dosing of heating and chilled systems, including HF bag changes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment (or transferable experience from a similar field).
- Knowledge and practical experience of maintaining water systems (advanced experience desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and customer‑service skills.
