Role Overview

You will provide personalized care to clients, supervise junior staff, and ensure care plans are implemented effectively. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and enhancing residents’ wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans
• Supervise and support junior staff, fostering teamwork
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and medication management
• Maintain accurate care records and update plans as needed
• Support emotional wellbeing through companionship and activities
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety protocols
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
• Contribute to staff training and mentoring programmes
• Use IT systems to document care and manage records efficiently

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in senior care or supervisory roles within domiciliary care
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written)
• Competence in developing and reviewing care plans
• Driving licence (essential)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety regulations
