Salary: GBP 35,000 to GBP 40,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x) + 15.5 Days Holiday (increasing up to 17.5 Days) + Pension + PPE/Workwear + Ongoing Training and Specialised Safety Certificates

Schedule: 4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm

Role Overview

Junior Maintenance Engineer required for an industry specialist within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company that offers job security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment operating 24/7.
• Work on bitumen blending tanks, high‑speed lamination lines, and thermal oil systems.
• Perform reactive maintenance on breakdowns.
• Execute PPMs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rollers.
• Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Involve in project works.
• Provide support shift work when required to cover holidays.
• Follow a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Mechanically biased engineer with an understanding of valves, pumps, motors, sprockets, and chains.
• Experience in MIG welding (not essential).
