Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a growing primary school environment, supporting pupils across Early Years, KS1 or KS2.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will work closely with teachers to deliver curriculum support, assist with classroom management and provide SEN support through small group and one-to-one learning.
The Learning Support Assistant role requires a calm, adaptable and proactive individual who can support behaviour management and help pupils remain engaged and motivated.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to pupil progress, learning development and inclusive education within a supportive school community.
Duties
- Support Learning Activities: Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities
- Provide One-to-One Support: Work with individual pupils, including those with SEN needs
- Facilitate Small Group Work: Support targeted learning groups to improve pupil progress
- Promote Engagement: Keep pupils motivated, focused and on task during lessons
- Manage Behaviour: Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Assist with Assessments: Help monitor and review pupil progress and learning outcomes
