Overview
NHS Lothian is recruiting an IT Security Officer based at Astley Ainslie Hospital. To participate in the IT Security Function in the delivery of a comprehensive IT Security support service to a large and diverse user base. To participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions to develop the IT Security function for all computing users throughout the Board, to maximise security and protection for its users, systems and information, enabling maximum realisation of benefits from its IT investment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the IT Security Function to deliver a comprehensive IT Security support service to a large and diverse user base.
- Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions to enhance the IT Security function for all computing users throughout the Board.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Role involves working within NHS Lothian IT Security; ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to IT security projects and support across a large user base.
Other Information
Post requires the holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application to Disclosure Scotland and satisfactory completion is required before starting in post.
