Location
Near Coalville; commutable from Ashby‑De‑La‑Zouch, Coalville, Burton, Markfield, Loughborough and surrounding areas.

Overview
Working for a large manufacturing business with sites across the UK, the Mechanical Assembly Fitter will be site‑based as part of the assembly team. The role involves building machinery using mechanical hand tools (spanners, torque wrenches, etc.) while reading assembly and engineering drawings to ensure correct construction.
Key Responsibilities
Read assembly instruction and engineering drawings and build the bespoke machinery the company manufactures onsite.
Qualifications
- Mechanical skill set – ability to work with tools (spanners, wrenches), nuts and bolts
- Computer literate
- Strong communication skills
- NVQ level 2 or above in a mechanical skill set (beneficial)
- Competent at following assembly instructions
