Shifts: Monday to Friday, start times between 16:00 and 17:00

As a Class 1 driver for our prestigious global logistics client, you’ll be responsible for delivering timber to various depots across the UK. The role involves swapping trailers and returning to Hull, typically completing 1-2 swaps per night. Best of all, there’s no handballing involved—this is purely a driving role!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Transporting goods to various depots, focusing on dropping and swapping trailers.
• Ensuring all goods are securely strapped before departure.
• Operating under FORS Gold level safety standards using modern equipment.
• Competitive Pay: £18.00 per hour after 8 hours.
• Bonus: £10.50 for each night shift completed.

Requirements

• Valid LGV C+E Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR, or IN endorsements on your licence.
• All drivers must successfully pass an onsite assessment.

Experience

• Experienced Class 1 drivers are encouraged to apply.
• If you’re relatively new but have gained solid experience over a few months, your application will still be considered.
