Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Sydenham
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000
What You’ll Do
- Supporting Clients: Work closely with individuals facing challenges, providing tailored support to help them achieve their recovery goals
- Creating Recovery Plans: Develop and implement personalised recovery plans that promote independence and well-being
- Building Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and external stakeholders to create a supportive community
- Facilitating Workshops: Lead engaging workshops and group activities that encourage personal development and shared experiences
- Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess client progress and adapt plans as necessary to ensure ongoing support
What They’re Looking For
- Has experience in a recovery-oriented environment or in a similar role
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is empathetic, patient, and understanding of diverse backgrounds
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team
- Holds a relevant qualification or is willing to pursue one
