Access North is on the lookout for a new Apprentice Fall Protection Technician — someone hands-on, switched-on, and ready to learn a seriously cool trade.

What you’ll be doing
- Installing, maintaining and inspecting fall-protection systems (safety lines, fixed ladders, handrails, anchors, walkways, etc.)
- Working alongside experienced technicians on real sites, learning the trade hands-on
- Getting involved in access & rigging work
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
- Travelling to different client sites (some working away will be needed)
- Learning how to stay safe at height and follow safety rules properly
- Completing a structured training programme leading to yourNVQ Level 3 Fall Protection qualification
What we’re looking for
- Age 18–21, physically fit, and comfortable with heights
- Great attitude: reliable, curious, and ready to learn
- Enjoys working with both handsandbrain
- Happy to travel and work away when the job needs it
- Communicates well with the team and clients
- Can stay calm, think clearly and solve problems on site
- Pays attention to detail
- Has energy, initiative, and takes pride in doing a job properly
- Up for challenges and stepping outside your comfort zone
- Bonus points if you love the outdoors (climbing, hiking, exploring)
