TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Pontypridd. This welcoming and inclusive school provides a supportive learning environment with a strong focus on student engagement, offering excellent facilities and a positive culture for both staff and pupils. The school is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Speaking Cover Teacher on a long‑term basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Welsh Speaking Cover Teacher will be responsible for delivering pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects at Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Fluency in Welsh and English
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to deliver pre‑planned lessons across multiple subjects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
