About Abode
Abode Architects is a boutique, design-led residential practice based in Glasgow city centre.
We specialise in high-quality private homes across the Central Belt, including considered extensions, townhouse renovations, careful refurbishments, listed buildings, conservation‐area projects and low‑energy new builds.
The studio is intentionally small. Craft, clarity, client care and good communication matter. We are growing carefully and are looking for a Project Architect who can take ownership of projects, help move work forward, and play a key role in the next stage of the practice.
The role
We are looking for a Project Architect to take ownership of residential projects across design, planning, building warrant and selected construction stages.
This is a hands‑on role in a small studio. You will be involved in design, technical development, consultant coordination, client communication, drawing package delivery and site‑stage support. The right person will be organised, practical, design‑sensitive and confident enough to move projects forward without needing every decision made for them.

- Prepare coordinated drawings, schedules and supporting information
- Attend client meetings, site visits and design reviews
