Specialist Housing Occupational Therapist

Overview

Occupational Therapist to work with adults, families, and carers in Liverpool, completing strength‑based assessments to promote independent living and improve quality of life. The main goal is to prevent or delay admission to hospital, care packages, or long‑term residential care.

The contract is 35 hours per week and initially lasts 12 weeks, with likely extension. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, hybrid with an expectation of 1–2 days in office.

Requirements

• At least 2 years postgraduate experience
• HCPC registered
• Recent housing experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
• Clear DBS (process can be assisted)
