Job Summary

Enfield’s Integrated Family Help Service is recruiting experienced social work practitioners at level 3 or above to support children and families in need. The role delivers early and child‑protection interventions across generic family help teams, the pre‑birth/newborn team, and advanced positions. You will work with a varied caseload to empower parents and carers, prevent family breakdown, and improve outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and review interventions for families and children using a strength‑based approach.
  • Provide coordinated support alongside advanced social work practitioners, social work practitioners, and family help practitioners.
  • Manage case loads and mentor or line‑manage junior family help practitioners where required.
  • Contribute to the development of the integrated family help teams and support the new multi‑agency child protection team (MACPT).
  • Deliver professional development and best‑practice training to staff.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Evidence of experience applying a strength‑based approach and coordinating interventions for children and families.
  • Experience with early help, child protection, and community‑based services.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and demonstrate leadership for advanced roles.
