Derbyshire County Council is looking for an Enablement Support Worker to join our short-term reablement team in Bolsover. The role focuses on supporting clients in their own homes to regain full or partial independence.
You don’t need previous experience or qualifications. We offer structured training to ensure our care workers receive what they need to flourish and progress in their social care careers.

What Will You Be Doing?
Working as part of a multi‑professional team, you will provide wrap‑around support to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own home. You will work towards goal‑focused care plans, have regular access to your Senior Enablement Support Worker for on‑the‑job queries and support, and to your Enablement Support Lead for supervision, professional development, and training. A career pathway has been built into the new structure, offering opportunities to progress to more senior positions.

This vacancy is a 24‑hour post on a rota basis with a 6‑hour shift pattern, meaning 24 hours will be worked 4 days a week. There are also opportunities to work extra hours when available. The role will require unsocial hours including weekends, bank holidays, and potentially nights, with agreement.
