Secondary School – Cover Supervisor

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

Pay: £100–£130 per day (depending on experience)

Job Overview

  • This school caters for students aged 11‑16.
  • Full‑time, Monday – Friday, Cover Supervisor role.
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in completing set work and remaining engaged during lessons.
  • Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school community.
  • Support the wider pastoral and academic needs of students where required.
  • Contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school.
