An Apprenticeship Programme with JCT600 will give you the opportunity to carry out a real job with real responsibility, coupled with an ongoing focus around your training and development. You will work to develop the skills that will make you effective both within our organisation and for your future career.

We are looking for people that are ambitious, who demonstrate a willingness to learn, and who are excited by the prospect of working with our fantastic brands. With a customer‑centric approach, you will always be striving to deliver service above customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • The Service Technician Apprentice role is a three‑year programme in which you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics and repairs on customers’ vehicles.
  • Initially you will shadow a qualified technician, learning how to use modern technology in all aspects of vehicle service and repair until you gain the ability and confidence to work alone. Once ready, you will be expected to carry out servicing and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
  • You will receive block training at the purpose‑built training academy in Milton Keynes, complemented by a combination of Virtual Classroom sessions and e‑learning modules, supported throughout the programme via practical work experience and assessments.
  • On successful completion of the programme, you will receive a Level 3 Service and Maintenance Light Vehicle Technician qualification.

Qualifications

  • Have gained or be working towards GCSE grade 4‑9 in Maths, English and a science‑related subject.
  • If you have not yet achieved these grades, a conditional offer will be made on the provision that they are achieved in the summer of 2026, ready for an August/September start.

Benefits

  • Annual leave: 34 days including bank holidays, increasing to 36 days (5 years) and 38 days (10 years)
  • Family support: enhanced paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Wellbeing & protection: life assurance, pension, enhanced sickness cover
  • Training & development: from foundation to advanced levels through brand partner training and JCT600 academies
  • Perks:
    • Colleague car purchase scheme & servicing discounts
    • Cycle‑to‑work and discounted gym schemes
    • Referral scheme up to £1,000
