If you’re an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity next academic year, Aspire People has a role for you!
A school in Four Oaks is looking for an experienced individual with previous SEND support experience to work with 2 children in Year 4 who are struggling to access the curriculum and are currently working to EYFS/Year 1 curriculum.
These children have no behavioural issues. One child has been diagnosed with ASD and the other is awaiting diagnosis but is also suspected to have ASD.
The role is 5 days per week (8:30‑3:45). The school is open to part‑time arrangements for the right candidate.
To support these children, the school seeks someone with experience in a similar role and strong curriculum knowledge.
Qualifications
- Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
- Experience supporting individuals with SEND
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
