MLOps Engineer

Manchester | £45k–£65k + Equity + Benefits

We’re hiring for a MLOps Engineer to join a fast-growing AI consultancy based in Manchester City Centre (3 days on-site). This role suits an engineer moving into MLOps who wants hands‑on exposure to deploying and operating machine learning systems in real‑world environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the deployment and operation of ML models in client environments
• Working closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and MLOps colleagues
• Contributing to production‑grade Python services and ML pipelines
• Helping provision and manage cloud infrastructure for ML workloads
• Learning best‑practice MLOps patterns across research, prototyping, and production

What we’re looking for

• 1–3+ years’ experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, Software Engineering, or DevOps
• Strong Python skills and a desire to write production-quality code
• Experience training ML models
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and Linux
• Clear interest in MLOps and operational ML systems
• Eligible for SC clearance

Nice to have

• Experience deploying models or APIs (e.g. FastAPI)
• Kubernetes, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code exposure
• ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
