Our Operations and Improvement team is looking for exceptional UEC Improvement Consultants to join our expanding team.
Location & Working Arrangement
Hybrid working – office or client site minimum 3 days per week (up to 5 days on a client site). The role can be based in London Victoria or Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Reduce avoidable ED attendances and reroute patients to earlier, preventative models of care, managing escalation differently.
- Deliver Left Shift for real by redesigning pathways that intervene sooner and closer to home, in partnership with clinical and operational colleagues.
- Build integrated, data‑driven UEC models that work for patients, clinicians, and systems.
- Support systems, providers, and ambulance services to move from crisis mode into sustainable, future‑ready delivery.
- Cut through noise and bring clarity to some of the most pressured environments in the NHS.

Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience in improvement and transformation across the UEC space—operational, clinical, or consulting.
- Proven track record of delivering change within UEC settings.
- Consultancy background is an advantage.
- A strategist who can operate within real‑world NHS complexity.
- Excellent communication and influence skills to engage clinical leaders, system architects, and executives.
- Strong problem‑solving ability in complex, multi‑agency, high‑stakes environments.
- Passion for continuous improvement and belief that “this is how things are” is never the end of the conversation.
- Commitment to supporting delivery of the 10‑Year Health Plan.
- Experience with data modelling and analytics is advantageous.
