W&I Insurance Underwriter

Overview

Our client is a W&I insurance specialist with a proven track record for both innovation and first-class service levels. They are now looking for an experienced M&A professional to join their growing team based in London.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, quote and underwrite risks from submission through to inception, in accordance with underwriting guidelines and practices
• Proactively nurture and build relationships with brokers, advisors, and clients
• Actively contribute to the team’s underwriting, growth, and business development strategies
• Contribute to the continual development of their W&I insurance product

Required Skills

• A minimum of 2-3 years in transactional risk insurance or a corporate lawyer with 2-3 years PQE
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting tasks to meet relevant timetables
• The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic and results-driven team
