The opportunity

In this role, you will lead the definition, development and delivery of the cost of ownership attribute at vehicle, system and component level across all Aston Martin programmes. This includes service costs, insurance ratings, warranty forecasting, recovery and leasing costs, combining objective data and subjective customer perception.

You will be responsible for building and evolving a clear attribute strategy that reflects our brand DNA and benchmarks against best‑in‑class standards. Through close collaboration with teams across engineering, manufacturing, service, quality, product strategy and beyond, you will ensure that this attribute is fully embedded across the organisation and consistently delivered across every programme.

This role offers the opportunity to influence at the highest level, working with senior stakeholders to translate the voice of the customer into meaningful targets and measurable outcomes. You will guide virtual and physical validation activities, ensuring robust delivery within cost, timing and quality constraints, while continuously driving innovation and improvement.

As a recognised authority in the field, you will lead the development of standards, processes and methodologies, ensure effective governance through programme gateways, and provide clear reporting and insights that support decision‑making across the business.

What you will bring

Proven experience within an automotive OEM or a closely related sector, with a strong understanding of product delivery and attribute development. Your background may include manufacturing, service, cost estimating or vehicle development; the key is the ability to connect technical detail with customer impact and commercial awareness.

Comfortable working across high‑volume and niche vehicle programmes, and experienced leading and influencing indirect teams in complex, cross‑functional environments. Strong analytical capability coupled with sound financial understanding; confident using data and insight to drive decisions.

Natural communicator, able to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and influence at all levels. Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a wider team, with a structured, detail‑oriented approach.

Motivated by challenge, resilient, adaptable, and committed to the highest standards, even in fast‑paced and demanding environments. Mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing culture is part of the role.
