A fantastic opportunity to join Smart DCC as a Finance Business Partner, supporting high‑profile programmes and transformation initiatives. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and playing a key role in shaping decision‑making across complex programmes.
How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future.
- Act as the finance business partner to programme and change teams, supporting delivery of multiple initiatives
- Provide financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring robust and accurate programme cost management
- Challenge and validate financial assumptions, supporting business cases and investment decisions
- Deliver clear, structured financial insight to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into meaningful outputs
- Support governance and reporting, ensuring costs are aligned to regulatory expectations and value for money
What you need to bring:
- Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, and modelling, ideally within programme or project environments
- Proven ability to partner with and challenge senior stakeholders constructively
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights
- Experience working across multiple workstreams or initiatives simultaneously
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience
