Location: Castle Donington, East Midlands (5 mins for East Midlands Airport!)
Contract: Annualised hours
Rota: Part-time hours (approx. 22.75) across the teams 7 on 14 off rota – happy to discuss flexible options
Practice Type: Veterinary Hospital – multidisciplinary referral centre & OOH emergency care
Salary: Up to £64 k FTE depending on experience

MiNightVet East Midlands is a small animal out-of-hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Castle Donington, Derby and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients. Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this service.
The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.
We are located in a wonderful part of the World with East Midlands airport just 5 minutes away, and Birmingham International Airport about an hour. We have plenty of exciting cities on our doorstep: Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, plus access to the beautiful countryside and trails of the Peak District.
About You

Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long‑lasting relationships.
As an experienced vet, you’ll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
