Responsibilities

  • Providing regulated investment advice to help clients meet their objectives. Representing Santander Select and investments in Branch.
  • Identifying potential new customers in need of this Service.
  • Demonstrating deep understanding of wider financial affairs and financial products to ensure that knowledge is comprehensive, and client focused.
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date and compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards and external regulatory requirements are observed.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • Proven skills in providing investment advice and delivering an outstanding customer experience (Required)
  • A good knowledge and understanding of wider financial markets, with exposure to the full range of banking products and financial planning industry (Preferred)

Education

  • A Level 4 Financial Planning diploma valid for FCA activity 4 (giving personal recommendations on retail investment products) (Required)

Hard Skills

  • Investment Market and Product Knowledge (Required)
  • Financial Software navigation skills (Required)
  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge, specifically consumer duty (Required)

Benefits

  • Salary Range: £47,142.00 – £70,714.00 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Annual salary based on a standard 35‑hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
  • £500 annual cash allowance.
  • 27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days after 5 years of service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
