Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Providing support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and training necessary to care for children.
- Participating in multi‑agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding practices.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records in compliance with local and national policies.
Qualifications
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children’s social care, particularly with children in care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
