We’d like you to join us as a Clinical Lead – RGN at our Chislehurst service. Chislehurst 15‑bed service provides specialist residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury or long‑term neurological conditions. The Clinical Lead will support the Registered Manager with the best possible standard of care, ensuring it is delivered to all residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, leading together on safeguarding, quality and governance to improve and develop all aspects of care. The person will provide visible clinical leadership and influence the development of services to ensure continuous improvements in quality of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and line‑manage staff across all areas.
- Serve as the named lead for all quality and governance.
- Ensure delivery of safe and clinically effective care, with assurance and oversight.
- Ensure residents receive care that is safe, responsive, compassionate, caring and well‑led.
- Promote a culture of openness and responsiveness to the views of residents and relatives, applying a person‑centred care philosophy and recovery ethos.
- Balance care philosophy with effective co‑ordination and leading of patient safety.
- Continuously improve quality across the staff, embedding quality as a day‑to‑day responsibility of all.
- Lead the governance agenda on behalf of the Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission, ICB Commissioners and other external and corporate quality agendas.
- Provide visible and credible clinical leadership within the MDT, ensuring the highest evidence‑based standards of care.
- Maintain the highest possible standards of infection control and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC pin.
- Legal right to work in the U.K.
