Position Summary
We are recruiting a Part Time Fixed Term Senior Care Worker to help our residents lead dignified lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentoring support to care staff while delivering all aspects of personal care.
- Assign day-to-day tasks within the care team, administer medication, and develop personal service plans with an emphasis on person-centred care.
- Promote good practice and deliver high-quality care and support to residents with a range of needs.
- Act as the senior person on duty during intervals of the working day, offering support and guidance appropriate to the grade.
- Work during a mixture of early and late shifts, covering two shifts per week.
- Participate in training and development opportunities provided to meet the level of the post.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to promote teamwork and deliver quality handovers.
- Experience in a care environment and ability to work flexible hours (including early and late shifts).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
