In the heart of Redbridge an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School is hiring a Physics Teacher (Science Teacher) + Head of Physics (£10,000) for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, full‑time contract.

The role will involve working alongside two other Physics teachers, specialising in KS4 & KS5 Physics, and leading and growing Physics across the School. There is scope for future lead practitioner opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside 2 other Physics teachers.
• Specialise in KS4 & KS5 Physics.
• Lead and grow the Physics curriculum across the School.
• Scope for future lead practitioner opportunities.

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it.
• Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs.
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level.
• Must be able to work as part of a large team of Science teachers.
• Must be willing to listen to feedback.
