Join us as a Sports Coach Special Needs Autism in an SEN school. We are supporting a well‑established SEN school in recruiting a Sports Coach. The role involves supporting students with SEMH needs, delivering engaging physical education sessions while helping them manage social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously challenge students to improve.
- Establish and maintain pupil behaviour standards to create an orderly and productive environment.
- Apply strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
- Implement strategies to support emotional well‑being.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Proven classroom experience or training.
